Sustainable Architectural Design & Research Study Stage I and II
Level 6 : research-project Stage I (32 classes or 8 months)
Level 7 : research-project Stage II ( completion until the thesis is endorsed for book publication)
- Students will select their individual research topic based on the 17 SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) as laid down by United Nations, study and analyze in order to design the possible solution(s).
- Their proposed solution will be “tested” by building a physical visual (part) mock-up of full-size, and by digital simulation running on Dassault Systèmes’ 3DExperience Platform on the CLOUD with CATIA and SIMULIA, to visualize and review their ideas. Students will be able to join the global 3DExperience Communities for exploring more cutting-edge design technology and exchanging their crazy ideas with the experts of various design industries of architecture and etc., who have kept searching for more solutions for the sustainable building design, city establishment, and resource-planning for human to co-live with the nature!
- The research project with the student’s dreams and findings throughout Stage I and II will be documented and published in Hong Kong as a book upon endorsement by the Architect.
Suitable for: Students of 11-18 years old or above who completed Level 5 of our Architectural Design Program 1.0
